Hi Ken, Great job!! I have been trying to connect my husbands grandfather, Lewis P. Rigsby { I am told he was born in abt.1843 in Chattanooga, TN., haven't been able to prove} I have come across a Lewis Rigsby, age 6 in 1850 TN. census, but no way to prove it might be him. He married Mary Elizabeth Chambers in 1884 & lived in Marion, Crittendon co. Ky. { I have their marriage cert., no parents names in it}until her death 29.Apr.1889. He then moved to Shawneetown, Ill. I am at dead end it looks like, but thought I would throw in my connection with Rigsby families. Any idea would be greatly appreciated. Lewis P. Rigsby was much much older than his wife mentioned above, and I have a feeling he could have been married before, making me wonder about a family you have listed in your census, under Allen co. p 243c mentioning a wife and 2 sons, Andrew & Henry. Interestingly enough Lewis & Mary Elizabeth Chambers had 4 sons, one by the name of Henry, not same Henry mentioned above. Makes me wonder!! Thanks for the good work, it will help many.
