Hello MaryEllen, and thanks for your input! I am looking for John Lake Rigsby, whom I now know was born abt 1885. The marriage record that I got for him and my ggrandmother, Sarah Ellen Williams, says he was 28 in Dec of 1913. It just seems like he has to be there somewhere - it says he was born in Pocahontas County, and my grandmother (Mildred Juanita June Rigsby) was born in Richwood, Nicholas Co. I just wonder where he went! My ggrandmother was remarried very shortly after that, and had 3 more children with her second husband by 1922, so it was a short marriage, but I don't know why . . . I need a trip to Nicholas County, I think !! Thank you for the info on Harriet - I can now start looking for their information, and hope it gives me their children's names!
