Howdy Claytie

Your Bailey was actually Baalam Rigsby. He was born
1875-09-23 in Cannon Co TN. I knew his wife was Ida, but I
hadn't found her maiden name yet. Thanks for helping me
with that. It makes sense that she was a Young; that branch
of the Rigsbys married into the Young family many times.
Ida was born 1877-09-xx in TN.

Baalam's parents were Robert Rigsby born 1837 in TN, and
Rachel Jones born about 1840 in TN. They were married
1860-09-15. Rachel's parents were Edmund Jones + Sophia

Robert's parents were Thomas II Rigsby born 1807 in TN, and
Sally (unknown) born 1812 in GA. Robert died between 1850
and 1860 in Cannon Co TN. I don't see Sally after that, but
she may have re-married.

Thomas' father was Thomas Rigsby born about 1760, who lived
in Mecklenburg Co NC. He died in Warren Co TN between 1830
and 1840. I've never been able to find his wife's name.

There were three Rigsby immigrants before 1700: Thomas,
John, and James. I would guess your Thomas is from Thomas,
but have no proof. With common names like those, he could
be from any of them.

Jumping back to more recent times, I have your Floyd's
birth date as 1900. Can you tell me the exact date, and
when and where he died? And did he have any siblings?

Hope that helps.
