Howdy Connie

Thanks very much for your contribution. I will go ahead
and add Thomas to my notes.

Are you sure he is a Rigsby, though? I checked the census,
and I don't see an "s" in the name. Also, I can't see this
Thomas on any of the earlier censuses.

There were very few Rigsby families in New York. A James
Rigsby and his wife Ellen McGoldrick immigrated there about
1851, and there were a few more Rigsby immigrants there on
the 1900 census. There were several families named Bigsby
and Rigby in NY, but so far I haven't found any connection
between them and the Rigsbys.

I suspect this Thomas is actually a Rigby, but I will keep
checking on him just in case. Do you know any other records
that show him as Rigsby?

Thanks again.

Ken
