Everything I have on Clyde and Mabel is posted here (including a photo):
All my family knew was that grandpa was married before he married my grandmother. I found Mabel on the census, and then found her name on Clyde's WWI Draft Registration - that's where I found the name Rigsby - you can see the document at the link above. I knew she died because my grandpa's next marriage license lists him as a widower. That means she died some time between 1920 and 1924. The WWI Draft Registration lists them in Haskell. Clyde's sister Della died late in 1919 from the flu, as well as a related family that lived next door to them. Clyde's youngest sister Ruby almost died from it, too, so I wonder if it took Mabel, as well.
I've asked everyone in the family and no one can tell me more. I figure she died in Eastland (Ranger) or Haskell (Haskell City) County.
Do you know of any of this Rigsby family's descendants?
