Thanks so much for your reply! I wondered if Canada might have been her father. I wish they had listed names like they do now! I got information from that was contributed by a woman in Idaho named Hattie Brown. I also had The Heritage book from the Hot Spring County, AR Historial Society in which it did say that Elihu went back to TN (after his wife's death) and married an Indian girl in her teens named Margaret. He was 55 and she 15. BUT info from Hattie Brown said they were married in Lowndes, MS and I do have the marriage certificate from Lowndes, MS for Elihu Sanders and Margaret Rigsby from 1835. Their first two children were born there....Henry Clay and William H.

They moved to Hot Spring County, AR where their other children were born (6 more). My husband's Great Grandfather was one of them. Jesse Edward Sanders was born in 1843. After Elihu died, Margaret married Levi Spencer in 1865.

I understand that there were no births recorded in 1820 Tennessee. They didn't start until 1908!

Do you have any other info on Canada?
