I believe I have finally found our Catherine Cornwell, wife of
Archibald Rigsby.
I found a birth record on-line for a Catherine Cornwell b. 6/3/1856
to Silas K. and Catherine Cornwell. The date fits with the marriage
record of 1878, which gives her age as 22.

Hate to rain on anyone's parade, but I have recently received census
info. from another researcher, that Catherine was the daughter of
Alexander Cornwell and his wife Susan Mead Cornwell. This is
borne out by the fact that Catherine and Archibald Rigsby were
married at the home of Alexander.
This census info also includes Arch and Catherine along with their
son Henry, showing that after their marriage they lived next door to
Alexander in Boyd Co. Ky. Unfortunately, the reason I never found
them there is that instead of Rigsby they are listed as Biggsby.
