Hey, Ken --

Your name is so familiar. Have we emailed about another family before? Or am I having deja vu? haha!

Anyway ...

The Alonzo Orrell household in 1920 -- that is Mary Ellen Potts and her family. Mary Ellen is a sister to Charles David whose obit listed Homer as foster son. If Homer is listed as a nephew, then he's probably the son of another female sibling who married a Rigsby. It could only be Lenora or Alice Potts. I have limited info on Alice, but Lenora was b. 1874 in AR and d. bef 1910 -- she married Henry Jack, 11 Jan 1897 in Muskogee.

I've seen that 1910 Charles Potts census. Charlie's sister Lenora had passed away, and he took in her children. Agnes Potts is actually Charlie's widowed mom Nancy. When I first looked at it, I thought it said "Harriet", because he/she is listed as "female" and "niece". But it does look like "Homer" now that I relook. But odd that if it's Homer, he's listed as a girl. A census error, or a young hermaphrodite who hadn't chosen his way yet? ha, just kidding ...

I've been in touch with the granddaughter of Lola (the other niece listed with Homer/Harriet). She still lives in Ft. Gibson, OK. And I actually just mailed her a letter a couple of days ago, asking if she knew how the Rigsbys were related.

I'll let you know if I hear back. Thanks for your thorough reply!!
