Nancy,

Surprisingly, I have heard similar talk of Riha being derived from a "stomach ailment." My neighbors once had visiting friends from the Czech area, and they told me that a translation of Riha is something like "burps in the bread basket." I am not sure if it is completely accurate as it was a number of years ago now, but I remembered that in particular.

Do you happen to have a copy of this research paper that mentions this, or know where I could find it?

Thank you,
Andrew Riha
