Dear Ruby:
From my records I have Daniel Rineley (Rinely
born 1821, married Sarah Jane (born 1826 in Ohio and married I think about 1850. They had Peter Rineley, Sarah F., Daniel Benjamin,
Jessie and Nancy Caroline. Daniel and Sarah Jane are both buried in Beeler, Ness county,
Ka, along with Olonzo Peter Rineley and Arena Alvena Brink Rineley,,Addie Joy and Myrtle rineley, Stephen Loren Rineley (my grandfather and Margaret Thompson rineley,
his wife (my grandmother). My grandmothers
niece is the Postmaster in Beeler at this time and her husband takes care of the cemetery. It is Raymond and Vita Lamoree.
I know that Jessie Rineley daughter of Daniela nd Sarah Rineley married Marvel Edwards born March 4, 1855, died Jan 30, 1939 in beeler, Ness Co., Ka and they had 13 children, the oldest was Pearl Edwards, born February 13, 1885 in Columbus Jct, Louisa co. Ia. The family then moved to Kansas. I haven't been able to get past there. I have my grandfather's obituary that said he was born In Colunbus Junction, Ia, 1877 and was about 6 years old when they moved to Kansas. The Rineley family was one of the settlers on Beeler. Look in - ancentry Would Tree Search Results and Spell the name Rineley you will find some information, if you haven't already. Also, in http://skyways, you will find the history of Beeler, Ka. That, as you know, is where I was born in 1933. My mother was the daughter of Stephen Loren Rineley and she married Charles Austin Wood.
I hope this gives you a little information and it really sounds like we might have made a match. I would like to talk to you or write to you and see. I am still in question about Olonzo Peter Rineley, if he is the Peter Rineley I have found. I understand from my Aunt (my mothers sister) that Olonzo or Alonzo Peter Rineley had a sister named Jessie and that she is also buried in the centery in Beeler, Ka. There is a little bit inGenSeeker-RootsWeb Search Results under Roots Web Home Page. My address is 3502 Joshua St., Carlsbad, NM 88220. Joleen J. McCormick
