Would love to know what happened to the 'Flying Camp.' According to the published muster roll, they were supposed to go to New York, but that's all I've seen on it.

Did you know that Jacob moved to Indianapolis area in the late 1820's? He is buried in the Ebenezer Lutheran Cemetery along with a lot of the other families from Zion Lutheran in Middletown but his stone is no longer there. Many of his descendents' stones are still there, including his daughter, Catherine Ringer Shartz, who is my line.

Wish I could help you on this. Did you find out where your ancestor's land patent was? I'm wondering where, if any, Jacob's land would have been.

Frederick County or the Maryland Archives wouldn't have a pension on him if NARA doesn't have it, would they?
