Would the name Albertis(Bertes or Burtis)Ringo be any help to you? He was b. 25/Nov/1763 in Amwell Twp. NJ and died 24/Feb/1790 in Fleming Co, KY.
An index, Revolutionary Soldiers in Kentucky, lists a Burtis(Bertis) Ringo as a private of cavalry, serving on the Virginia line. His pension of $100 was approved 24/Oc/1832; his age at that time was listed as 72.
A Burtis Ringo received a land grant of 100 acres on the East Fork of Foxes Creek, Fleming Co., dated 22/July/1822; and additional 100 acre and 500 acres was also granted to him on Foxes Creek, Pond Lick Branch, 22/Sept/1832.
Most likely, the same Albertis listed in the LDS records as b. 1763, with a three-year discrepancy in one or the other records.
He married Hannah Rector in 1790. Their children were: John, Phillip, Lott, Nancy, Katharine, Polly, Margaret, Ludwell, Albert, Grace, Susan, Rachael and Sally Sarah.
Some of the family of Henry Ringo and Margaret Major Ringo also went to Kentucky. They both died in Montgomery Co. Cornelius was the first son to go there. He died in Henry Co., KY, so maybe his line is no help.
I'll go back through my notes to look for the connection between Albertis and Henry's line if you like.
Hope this might give you a clue...
