Ok, now you have the info on Morris' mother and father, now as far as I know Jacobs father was Casper, now Casper had three (3) wives, his first wife was Betsy Pugh (m. 1811), his second wife was Isabel Copeland (m. 1822), and his third wife was Rebecca Jones Light (m. ??), which one was Jacobs mother I have no idea.
Caspers father was also a Jacob.
Jacob's father was also a Casper, who was one of three brothers (Henry, Jacob) that immigrated from Germany. (Read prior msg's, there is more info on this from another relative). This was also the time when our original name changed from "Ringger" to "Rinker", I assume this was due to the pronunciation of our name during naturalization on the east coast.
Casper's father and mother were Jakob Ringger and Barbara Morff, they were the first to immigrate from Switzerland to Germany.
Jakobs, parents were Conrad Ringger (b. 1670) and Anna Egolf.
Conrad's parents were Jogli Ringger (b. 1642) and Elsbeth Leibacher.
Jogli's parents were Heinrich Ringger (b. 1611) and Usula Schwarz.
Heinrich's parents were Hans Ringger (b. 1571) and Anna Steffen.
Hans parents were Kilian Ringger (b. 1543) and Verena Leibacher.
Ok that is all the info I have starting from your husbands grandfather, back dating.
Well from the looks of it your husband and I are cousins, what place I have no idea, i could never figure that out, I hope that this helps out, and keep in contact, if you have any information please let me know. Carl Jr.
