Hi,

Your post mentions Everett Risser. He was my husbandís uncle. We have a rather complete family history on that side, written in the 1940s, so maybe some of this will be helpful to you.

His full name was Everett Arnold Risser and he was born on Feb. 14, 1905. He married Leona Rachel Coleman on December 19, 1942 in Frostproof, FL. Leona was born at Hovey, in Harrison County, MS on 12/22/18. She was the daughter of Nannie Belle Murrah and Ralph Averett Coleman. Her father, who passed away on May 8, 1947, was a foreman in in wood mill. Their home was in Jackson, MS. Leona had three sisters: Mrs. Hugh Griffis of Jackson, MS; Mrs. Madge Alexeichik, of Jackson, MS; and Mrs. Thelma Van Sluijters of Zutphen, Holland and formerly of Netherland East Indies.

Everett and Leona had two daughters, Leanna Fay (born 6/8/44) and Donna Kay (born 10/5/45).

Everett died in Texas in the early 1980s.
