Debbi,

as a further note, my grandfather was Thomas Benjamin Rist, who was the son of Benjamin Rist (b1872).

Rhymney is a small coal-mining community in the Welsh Valleys.

Do you know if Thomas was born in Essex or Wales?
Steve
