Maxwell RITTENBERG aka FLINT
Posted by: Darrel King Date: March 01, 2000 at 10:14:45
  of 39

Maxwell RITTENBERG, b. 16 Dec 1899 Boston, Mass; d. Oct 1965 Portland, OR. Son of Harry RITTENBERG and his wife Kate BERRY. Harry said to have been a Russian Jew; Kate a Catholic girl from Londonderry; both immigrants. Maxwell and two siblings raised as Catholics. Maxwell was married (1st) to (unknown); had two daughters Lillian (married to Richard CHAMPION) and Cecelia. At some point Maxwell took the surname FLINT. He was divorced, re-married (may have been without benefit of clergy) to Ruth Irene KNOX; had a daughter Kathleen and a son Maxwell FLINT, Jr. Maxwell was a seafaring man and a union member. What were Maxwell's siblings names? Where are Lillian and Cecelia? (Lillian supposed to have lived in Douglas, Utah, but I can't identify any such place). Is anyone researching Harry and/or Kate's ancestry? Maxwell's daughter Kathleen would like to know; and would like to contact her half-sisters for exchange of family information.
