Mark A. Rizzi of Wheaton Services for Mark A. Rizzi, 43, will begin at 9 a.m. Thursday, at Hursen Funeral Home, 4001 W. Roosevelt (southwest corner of Roosevelt and Mannheim), Hillside/Westchester, proceeding to St. Domitilla Church, Hillside, for a Mass at 10 a.m. Interment will be in Queen of Heaven Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, at the funeral home. Mr. Rizzi passed away Friday, Jan. 19, 2007, after a courageous year-long battle with complications from a liver transplant. He was the dear son of Edward and Bunny (nee Gruner); dearest brother of J.R. (Maureen), Connie (Simon) Quiroz, Heidy Rizzi-Lange, Chris (Eileen), Kimberly (Tim) Beck, Brett (Tracy) and Caesar II (Carrie) Rizzi; loving grandson of Theo and the late Otto Gruner, and the late Caesar and Margaret Rizzi; fond uncle of Eddie Jr., Selena, Simon, Jordan, Isabella, Jessica, Nick, Samantha, Melanie, Allyson, Abigail, Hanna, Timmy, Tristen, Otto, Elio, Arianna, Giada and the late Jacob; nephew of Barbara (Al) Van Eekren, Valerie Hutchins, Gail (Doug) Miller, Irene (Jim) LaCesa and the late Cheryl Rizzi Frank; and a cousin and friend of many.
