Since I posted the referenced message looking for information on Michel Dugas and Elisabeth Robichaud I have been able to determine that they ended up living in Quebec City, Quebec. Don’t know how and when they moved from Topsfield, MA. From the Quebec Vital Records (Drouin Collection) on Ancestry.com (all from records of Notre Dame de Quebec): Elisabeth Robichaud was buried 4 April 1790 in Quebec City Michel Dugas was buried 8 June 1801 in Quebec City Daughter Marie Josephe Dugas was buried 20 December 1815 in Quebec City Daughter Marie Modeste Dugas was buried 24 January 1840 in Quebec City Daughter Anne Dugas married Andre Rolet 4 April 1795 at Notre Dame de Quebec. She was buried 28 April 1838 in Quebec City. Also the Parish Censuses for Notre Dame de Quebec (available on-line through the Quebec Library and Archives) list Michel Dugas as “head of household” living at 3 Rue Nouvelle in 1792, 1795 and 1798. In 1818 Marie Modest Dugas and Anne/Andre are listed at the same address. Haven’t been able to find any info on son Joseph Dugas. Son Amand Dugas ended up in Cap Chat on the Gaspe where he married Madeleine Marin and had a son Isaac who is my ancestor. Al Dugas Notify Administrator about this message?
