Robichaud Family Genealogy Forum

Sooner or later we will have to eliminate this middleman forum. I'm still in the process of having the Robichaud program straightened out. All the material is in the PC, but the guy who put it in can't make it run properly so that I can email copies of single pages! He's supposed to be here later this week to try to correct the problem.
You have a little advantage, knowing where I am, and I don't know where you are, or whether we have mutual friends. I know you are Earl's sister, but I never knew who his parents were either.
In all of your data, do you have any info on a Robichaud that served in the American ContinentalArmy as a Captain in Colonel Moses Hazen's Regiment? That regiment was sometimes referred to as "Congress's Own Regiment. Somewhere, years ago, I read about a Major Paulin, a Captain Robichaud, and a Lieutenent Boudreau serving in that regiment. I understand that while enlisted men were on the rolls, without mention of their parents, officers did have a short mention of their lineage. I've tried often to find the answer, without success. That regiment was one that spent the infamous winter at Valley Forge. History also mentions that many of the veterans were given land in New York state inpayment for their service. As my Paternal grandmother was a Paulin, and my mother a two-sided Robichaud, you can understand my interest. In addition military matters are of interest because I am a retired USAir force officer.
