Much as I would enjoy talking to you, I don't think you would be! My hearing is so bad that my son gave me this computer so we could communicate. He got tired of me saying "what was that". You would be too! I like best the fact that we are second cousins--I prefer that to 3rd or 9th.
Being 2nd cousins I know that you must have a great sense of humor--so I'm going to tell you about the Chiasson family I ran across that had 32 kids. The guy was wed twice, had 24 by the firstand 8 by the second. Now thats my idea of "no sense of humor". Imagine anyone taking seriously what was poked at her in fun.
I am aware of the reason for such large families. They never got out of the expectation of government payments, after the tenth child. Plus the need of help on those large farms that were given in the land grants of the late 17hundreds.
