Colonel Robin in Albuquerque

Hello, Robins!

I am the brigade historian for 321st Civil Affairs Brigade in San Antonio, Texas. We are working on our unit history and have noticed a glaring gap in our information. We don't know the full name of our very first commander.

Here is what we do have:

Our unit was activated in Albuquerque, NM, on 16 November 1955, as the 321st Military Government Group. All we have is that the first commander was Colonel Robin -- no first name, but was a full-bird colonel, not a lieutenant colonel. He would have been a member of the Army Reserve, at least at this time.

The second commander was Colonel Richard M. Krannawitter, and would probably have been in the unit, too, in 1955.

Do any of your Robins know of a Robins family living in the Albuquerque area in 1955 that I might contact? Do any of you know a Colonel Robin?

I'm looking for any leads at all.

Thanks,

Jacqueline Davis
1SG, HHC, 321st Civil Affairs Brigade
