Hi wee Karola!

I was sat talking to my grandad today about his family history growing up in Glasgow so I thought I would google the surname Robin. I clicked straight on to your messages which is quite bizarre!

My grandad is called Ronald MacIntyre Robin and he was the youngest of 13 children. His father was called William Robin and I think William's brother was called Walter. I don't know all of the names of my grandad's brothers and sisters but a couple spring to mind being Hannah, Winne, Arthur, Frank.
My grandad married Joan Hodkinson and they have 1 daughter called Jean Cameron Robin (my Mum).

The Cardonald grave site you mention is correct. My brother and my grandad visited 2 grave sites about 10 years ago. My Mum knows alot more background information than I do. My grandad doesn't talk much about growing up in Glasgow but it sounds like we might be able to compare notes!
