Hi Sheree,
I just discovered my Robinette Line and am looking for more information regarding the family.
The following is what I have re Margaret Robinette and John Renfro, Jr.I know the dates that I have are different than yours, but I think it's very possible that we're researching the same family:
John Refro, Jr.
b. abt. 1680
m. Margaret Robinette abt.1700 Chester Pennsylavania
d. 1748 - North Carolina
Son of John Renfro, Jr. and Margaret Robinette:
Jacob Rentfrow
b. abt. 1745, North Carolina
m. Priscilla (Unknown)
d. November 1825, North Carolina
My line went from Pennsylvania to North Carolina, to Georgia, and then to Alabama.
My Margaret's g-granddaughter was Celia Roundtree, who was living in Alabama prior to the Civil War, where the 1850 census records show that she and her husband, Elijah Hanes were both property and slave owners in Blount County.
I am willing to share what little information I have.
Thanks ~ Judy
