G. 2-29a, Robinett, Joseph H., Jan. 18, 1911, age: 72 years 2-30, Robinett, Sept. 5, 1829 to Jan. 1898, son of James & Betsy Robinett RUB The Robinetts listed above are in the Barker Cemetery in Lafayette Co Mo. as described below. I do not research Robinett/Robinette--not my family. Virgnia Parker The Barker Cemetery is on the top of one of the rolling hills in the area, providing a gorgeous panoramic view of the valley. It is a well-kept site with a chain-link fence enclosing it (donated by Cecil & Alice Barker Bandy). there is a metal archway over the gate with the words "Barker Cemetery 1849" on it. The Barker Cemetery Association cares for the cemetery. Go North on Johnson Drive (gravel road in 1999)from the East Odessa exit off I-70 approximately 4.0 miles to a white farmouse on the North side of the road. The cemetery is located behind the farmhouse and barns. Or you can go North 2.5 miles to Barkertown Road, turn East, and go 1.3 miles to Linn Grove Road. At Linn Grove Road turn North again 0.9 miles to Johnson Drive, turn back West and go 0.5 miles to the farmhouse on the North side of the road. This is a longer, more complicated way to get there, but if you happen to be approaching from the other direction you won't get lost. Notify Administrator about this message?
