Robinette-Martin connection?
Posted by: Joann Stroh (ID *****7016) Date: March 08, 2005 at 14:54:45

Need some help! I'm trying to solve a difficult mystery. I do know there are several different spellings of Robinette as the line moves along. My connection begins with the marriage of Anna Roninett (Robinette) & William Steele 3/20/1857. Her father & mother: Daniel Robinett/Mary Ann Justice from VA. I am now looking at a Martin connection. I've found a possible Ann Martin marrying James Robimette around the mid-1700s in PA. Have also found a Floyd Martin listed as a 7th half cousin of a Paul (P.) Michael Robinette. The mystery I'm trying to solve is a break in the Martin line. This break happened between 1870 and 1880 when Jesse James Martin's father was supposedly killed on a trip to CA from Ark. Jesse's father was born in MO and his mother possibly in ARK or TEN. Jesse was born in TX. Anybody else have any Martin's showing up in their line?
