Thanks for your quick response. Ok, I will bug you..I have been hitting brick walls with this branch for a long time. I did find a copy of her marriage cert. to Aaron Shue and her name was spelled Rhodes. But it probably wasn't the original spelling. She had a son William who was my grandfather. He went by the name William Rhodes Shue Heisey, apparently when Amanda died at a young age he was adopted by a Heisey family. That's about all the info I have on her. One more thing, interesting. I know where she is buried near Manheim, but her stone says Amanda Shue, with her birth and death dates...gives no maiden name. Thanks again.... Betsy
