Sandra, you will find the Rodeffer name has many different spellings. Rodefer, Rodifer, Rodeheaver, Rothenhofer, to name a few. My ancestors were from Germany, and migrated in the 1700's to Virginia. They lived in Rockingham and Woodstock, VA. Check out the VARockin database in Roots You may also e-mail me for further information.
