Johann Adam Rodemich was born 28 Nov 1798 in Rossdorf, Hessen-Darmstadt. He was the son of Johann Peter Rodemich and Margarethe Elisabethe Ramge. Adam was married to Elisabetha Margaretha Engert on 9 Mar 1826 in Rossdorf.
Elisabetha Margaretha Engert is the dau of Johann Nicolaus Engert and Eva Margaretha Vornoff. She was born 4 Aug 1800 in Rossdorf. Adam and Elisabetha came to America in 1834 on the ship the Wesser. In the later part of his life Johann Nicolaus Engert live in the home of Adam and Elisabetha in Montgomery Co. Pa. My GGGgrandfather is Adam's son William Rodemich. I have the records of Rossdorf in the FHL that I use, if that could be of help to you.
