I'm looking for information on my great great grandmother Sarah Jane Rodgers. She was born in 1865, and died in 1932. She married James T. Ammons in 1883, in Nevada County, Arkansas. I've been told by my mother that she was from Oklahoma and was a Cherokee Indian. My uncle also says she was connected to Will Rogers. Any info would be much appreciated. I've seen her maiden name spelled both ways.
