You are fortunate in that your family was in Edwards Co. IL for a few generations, and it was easy to find. The father of Thomas Rodgers b. about 1867 in IL was John Martin Rodgers, b. in IL. John's father was Thomas Rodgers, b. IN. Others have been working on this line.
Go to www.rootsweb.com then click on the link Search Family Trees. Fill in the surname Rodgers; first name Thomas; born Indiana; died Illinois. That is all that you need to enter. This will bring up several entries, some shown as Thomas A. Rodgers some as Thomas Alexander Rodgers. Not all are complete. The most complete seems to be the one donated by LidaKTaylor.
