I am researching my grandmothers family and just today found that Martha "Mattie" SEARS is indeed my grandmother's sister. Mattie married a Joseph Sears in South Bend, Indiana and died of Black Small Pox in 1912. She had been married to an Orin RODGERS and they had 5 children together. Harold, Ralph, Blanche, Kenneth, and Marguerite.
Her mothers name was Mary BABCOCK. stepfather Lafayette Heckman. Her real father David Parley. Any help with this family would be greatly appreciated.
