Robert,
I don't think I ever got back to you on James Rodgers. My James was b/abt/1878 AR or MS= mother Francis Allen Self Rodgers. Only found on 1880 Conway, AR census with gf-Asa Allen and familiy. So, I don't think we are talking about the same James. Wish it were.
However, we do have some Hughes Co. connections. My gf-Isaac Bailey Allen came from AR to Allen, OK -Hughes Co. and met my gm there. Some Allen kin was already there. My gf was the youngest. Allen, OK is not named for my kin.
What else can you tell me?
