Is it possible that Andrew Jackson Roe was the Jackson who is mentioned on the following post from the Carr Family Geneology Family Forum website:

Don't know if I can help you. I have information showing that John Carr and Amy Armstrong had 11 children but only know the name of one of them. That was John A. Carr b. 10/10/1785 d. 10/26/1852. He married Bathsheba Roe and they had 8 children only one of whom I know as Jackson Roe Carr b. 3/21/1820. Jackson m. Amanda Hatfield on 4/5/1840.
