I don't think that this is the same person as the Andrew Jackson Roe that I am looking for. AJ Roe married Amanda Miranda Jane Kemp in the mid-1800's and lived for a time in the area around Atlanta, GA. The counties that were probable residences were Cobb, Fulton and DeKalb. I don't have any info on who the parents of AJ Roe were, since as I understand the family history, he was adopted into the family of Moses and Miranda Kemp both of whom came to GA from SC around 1845. Let's keep on looking.
