Found an H. Rowe on the Wyandotte County, Kansas 1865 state census. She is listed as 78 years old born in Ireland. She is the mother of Martha Carlton (Rowe) NEWTON. Martha is listed as having been born in Tennessee in 1822, so I assume that H. and husband Roe/Rowe were married in Tennessee or at least lived in TN.
