The book _Vivat Amerika: Auswanderung aus dem Kreis Minden, 1816-1933_ by Wolfgang Riechmann (Mindener Geschichtsvereins, 1993) lists a number of Roesener (Rösener) emigrants from Frille. None matches your William, but there are several young boys born in the same general time frame whose listings say they emigrated "with the parents" or "with the entire family". Do you know when your ancestor emigrated? There are several listings of Roeseners born in Frille in the 1820's-30's who emigrated in the 1840's-50's. There is also one listing for a (male) Rethemeyer from Frille born 1837emigrated 1843 with his parents. Email me at if you would like more information
