Norm...Thank you for the quick response. You have about as much as our group has on Anna. One of my cousins did a great deal of research on our family and came up with the father being William or, maybe, Samuel Robert. Oh well, I knew it was a long shot.

I understand well the value of persistence in genealogy. The reason I was on the Rogers board was I am keeping an eye out for info on Larkin Rogers, b. 11 Feb 1776 in North Carolina. He married Elizabeth Tinnin and they had 11 kids. I descend from this couple through their daughter, Elifair, who married Wiley Curry and came to Texas. Wiley was supposed to have died in 1836 at the Battle of San Jacinto (where Sam Houston defeated Santa Anna in the Texas War of Independence). The family has not been able to prove that. He is not listed on the battle memorial but he was never seen after the battle. Elifair Rogers Curry lived for another 12 years on land that Wiley had patented in 1835 in Limestone County, Texas.

Thanks again for your time. I will keep you in mind and if I come across anything about Anna Adams Rogers I'll let you know.
