Sarah,
One of the main researchers of Humphrey B. Rogers was Don Rogers of Nashville, TN. He gave me his info years ago.

As I recall, Humphrey B. Rogers had married Adams in Union Co. NC I believe. Humphrey B. Rogers was listed as being the son of Richard Rogers and Richard Rogers was son of Humphrey Rogers.

Old Humphrey Rogers and Richard Rogers are buried in a field near Lilesville, Anson Co. NC and their tombstones are no longer readible but many had seen their tombstones and knew they stated Richard Rogers and Humphrey Rogers on them, I believe.

Somewhere I have the info that Don Rogers sent me long ago, but don't have time right now to search for it, but will and post it to you when I have more time.

Humphrey B. Rogers moved with his wife to Anderson Co. SC and I believe that is where many of their children were born. Some stayed in Anderson SC while Humphrey B. Rogers and his wife named Adams moved to Tuscaloosa AL with the rest of the children. After the parents died in Tuscaloosa, some of the children moved into Carroll Co. MS, while others went back to Anderson SC, to be with their older siblings.

That is about all I remember at this time.

Tina Rogers Beller
