NO I never heard of the lady. Also, Hamilton Co. is not located in the Sequatchie Valley like some TN people would lead you to believe.I am referring to Zella Armstrong for one who printed in her book on Hamilton Co. the statement that Hamilton Co. had given land to make Sequatchie Co. which is incorrect. Then she claimed that William Rogers the RW soldier from Bedford Co. who had lived in Hamilton Co. was buried in Chapel Hill Cemetery in Dunlap which is located in the County of Sequatchie which really is up in the Sequatchie Valley. However, Zella was wrong again. It is MY ancestor, William Rogers, who is actually buried there with his second headstone. The first stone was one of those long slabs and the death date of 1849 had been chiseled out. However, the new stone contains no dates. So, you will need to hang out in Hamilton Co. to find you lady would be my best guess.
Good Luck.
