From what towns of S-H are these Rohdes? I have Rohdes from Schulp, Meldorf, and Wesselburen. The names you listed are very similar to those of my family. My Rohde ancestor was Dorothea Margaretha (or Maria). I believe her parents were Peter and Weibke Catherina (nee Horn). Dorothea and her brothers Hans J. and Claus were born in the 1820's. Dorothea married Peter Nicholas Kruse from Wesselburen. One of their daughters was named Weibke Catherina. Unless that was a common name in the 1800's in S-H, it would seem that there must be some connection between your family and mine. I would appreciate any info you might have if that's the case. Thanks.
