I have this Herman tied to Frederick Rohde of Custer county, NE - Frederick and Herman and his famiy arrive in Baltimore from Brehem, Germany in April 1881 aboard the Ship Kronprinz Friedrick Wilhelm -- they settled in Grand Island and sent for their parents. Herman eventually went to Schneider, NE and frederick and his remaining brothers and sisters went to Elk Creek, NE...

The problem is I have no record of a Dora Rohde as one of the sisters of the Rohde family. If this Herman is part of my family then I have no record of Dora, if this herman is not part of my family then there was a second Herman in Grand Island, NE at the same time..

The parents for my herman and frederick were Christlieb and Harriette (or henriette) Rohde -- the known family as I have it was:

Frederick born 1853
Herman born 1854
Amelia was born about 1865
Albert was born January 19, 1866
August W F was born about July 1869
Otto H., was born Feb 2, 1873
Louisa was born about 1877

I would be interested in hearing about Dora and what information you have on her as it may result in revising my information regarding this Herman.

Thanks
