Sorry, I can not find your George Rohrbacher.

The Rohrabacher/Rorabacher family originated as Roorbach and added the er in the early 1800's in NY state. They were Germans immigrating from along the Rhine River in Germany to the US in 1710 (during the Palentine Immigration).

One of the family may have married an Indian woman in Wisconsin as most of the family moved west from NY State in the 1830's to Michigan and other locations. They all spelled the name differently, one brother spelling the family Rohrabacher and others Rorabacher.
