I have no specific information about your branch of the Rohrs family. However I was born and raised near Johnson (Nemaha County) Nebraska and my grandparents were Henry William Rohrs and Anna Bohling Rohrs. As far as I know our family were not close relations to your Rohrs's.
Most of our branch of the family attended church at the Lutheran church in Hickory Grove just a few miles south of Rohrs. When I was growing up in the 50's Rohrs consisted primarily of a Conoco station and a few residences. There had been at least a bank and a grain elevator in Rohrs at some point, but they were gone or in ruins prior to my earliest memories. When I visited the area a few years ago, I believe even the gas station was closed or gone. Many older maps still show Rohrs a few miles west of Auburn.

I'm currently doing some limited study of my Nemaha County Rohrs roots and if I run across more specific information regarding the town of Rohrs, I'll post it here.
