Heinrich Wilhelm Roll was born on 11 Apr 1816 in Germany, died on 29 Dec 1879 in Peck, Sedgwick, Kansas, at age 63, and was buried in Roll Cemetery, Peck, Sedgwick, Kansas.(1)
Heinrich married Sadie Friederika Ploetz. They had six children:
Heinrich (Henry) G., Gustave (Gus), Charles(Carl) Augustus, Rudolph (Ralph), William H., and Anna (Annie) May.

2-Heinrich (Henry) G. Roll was born in 1846 in Prussia, died in 1924, at age 78, and was buried in Roll Cemetery, Peck, Sedgwick, Kansas.
2-Gustave (Gus) Roll was born on 5 Apr 1849 in Germany, died on 13 Oct 1936, at age 87, and was buried in Roll Cemetery, Peck, Sedgwick, Kansas.

[Inez Hamilton Savage indicates that William Ties was a half brother to Heinrich Roll, and traveled from Germany with Heinrich to America] William Ties is buried in the Roll Cemetery, died 3 Jul 1899, row 4, grave 1.

2-Charles (Carl) Augustus Roll was born on 17 Aug 1851 in Brandenburg, Germany, died in 1932 in Peck, Sedgwick, Kansas, at age 81, and was buried in Roll Cemetery, Peck, Sedgwick, Kansas.(1)
General Notes: Emigrated to US in 1856/7 and settled in Wisconsin. Came to KS in 1871 (Source: This is How it Was, Lottie E. Hamilton)
Charles married Catherine Emeline McGaha, daughter of Joseph Madison McGaha and Sarah Ann Thornton, on 1 Sep 1879. They had seven children: William L., Alice, Clara M., Andrew A., Albert, Charlotte (Lottie) Elizabeth, and Hattie.

2-Rudolph (Ralph) Roll was born on 4 Apr 1859 in Wisconsin and died in 1934, at age 75.
2-William H. Roll was born about 1862 in Wisconsin and died after 1900, after age 38.

Mayor W. H. Roll, all around business man of Peck, took in the street fair-not in Peck, but Wichita Thursday.
