As far as I know, no-one has traced a baptism for Edward Roll son of William M Roll and Elizabeth Batt Beevor (although I have not been in touch recently with Mike Wilton who was keen to hunt this down).

That Edward Roll belongs to this family is in little doubt in view of the distinctive names used in his family and the role of his son Edward Charles Roll (1809-1888) in making the memorial in St Catherine's Church, Ludham. It is a pity that so few wills have been traced for this family.

A made a document a few years ago summarising what was known about Edward Roll's grandmother, Martha Lulman; let me know if you would like a copy.

I would be interested in hearing details of how you descend from Edward Roll and Ann (I don't know Ann's maiden name, only that she was apparently previously married to a Mr Butler).
