Possibly son of John Roll and Susannah Swank who I have just 5 children listed for, from the 1850 census. John and Susannah's parents were married in 1800, Hardin Co., KY, and had some children there, prior to moving to Harrison Co., IN. I don't have birth dates on John and Susannah, but John's parents went from PA after the Rev. War, to Hardin Co., KY, then to Muhlenberg Co., KY.
This was considered the PA line of the Roll's, which is extensively documented.

John's parents were Michael and Christina (Vaught) Roll who are buried in the Sears Cemetery in Muhlenberg Co., KY.

Susannah's parents were John and Roseannah (Summit) Swank, both from PA as early settlers of Hardin Co., KY. John Swank was killed by Indians in Hardin Co., KY.
