I erred on that - just checked, and it should have been the 1860 census. Here is what I have in my notes on William B. Roll:

Possibly the William Roll named in the State Census of Nebraska, 1st Dist., Belews, in 1854, p. 004.

1856 State Census, Nemaha Dist., NE, Brownville, p. 008 --
William Roll, b. IN, farmer,
1 m 21 up
2 m und. 16
1 f 16 up
3 f und. 16

1860 Fed. Census, Brownville, Nemaha, NE, pg. 61, line 10 (490-457), dated 29 June 1860.
William Roll, age 50, tenant farmer, Per. Val. $200, b. IN
Matilda Roll, age 40, b. IN
Jacob Roll, age 20, b. IN, laborer
Julia Roll, age 16, b. IN
Christina Roll, age 8, b. IN
Susan Roll, age 6, b. MO
Thomas Roll, age 4, b. NE
Richard Foster, age 25, blacksmith, per. val. $75, b. IL
David Lewis, age 22, laborer, per. val. $100, b. PA

I also checked RootsWeb World Connect, and there is data relating to these families there as well.
