ROLLINGSON/ROLLINSON DUDLEY WORCESTER ENGLAND
Posted by: Debbie Weatherill (ID *****0863) Date: April 20, 2002 at 08:35:59

Hi to all out there

First time I have noted the Rollinson forum and had high hopes when I saw the Dudley Rollinson postings. However, I do not seem to be able to connect to any of them.

My interest is in the following:- (All ENGLAND AT THE MOMENT)

Elizabeth Rollinson/Rollingson (1881 census)married Walter Weatherill Castleford Yorkshire (this was my husbands grandmother)

Her father is believed to be Reuben Rollingson/Rollinson whose wife was Eliza, BOTH OF WHOM WERE BORN DUDLEY WORCESTER, their children being:

Thomas aged 27 in 1881, Elizabeth aged 18 as above, Mary J aged 14 in 1881, Henry aged 11 and John aged 8.

This is not my main line of research since I am concentrating more on the Weatherill side however, I have Elizabeth's line to present day and would be happy to exchange info.

Since I intend going back to Castleford to obtain more info from earlier census I shall also be looking for the Rollinsons again when I go back.

Anyone wishing to exchange info I can help a little with the 1881 census for England etc too.
