Sharon
Sorry for not contacting you sooner, but I wanted to find my records of your great- great grandfather. This is the 1881 census return for 1881
Census return 1881 9th April in Keighley
Address - 131 West Lane

A family of Rollisson's lived there- see below, presumably they only lived there from the 1860s, previously they must       have lived in Durham- Staindrop.

Name       Relationship to head of household               Place of birth Status age birth approx Occupation
George       head       mar       55       1825       quarryman stone       Yorkshire-Leeds
Elizabeth       wife       mar       43       1837/8       quarryman's wife       Westmoreland-warcup
Thomas       son       unmar       24              quarryman's son       Durham-Staindrop
John       son       unmar       23              grocer       Durham-Barnard Castle
George       son       unmar       21              worsted twister       Durham-Barnard Castle
Ann       dau       unmar       17              worsted rover       Durham-Staindrop
William C       son       ~       15              currier       Durham-Staindrop
Richard       son       ~       13              millhand doffer       Durham-Staindrop
Elizabeth       dau       ~       11              scholar       Yorkshire-Keighley
Bertram       son       ~       9              scholar       Yorkshire-Keighley
Horace       son       ~       7              scholar       Yorkshire-Keighley
James       son       ~       5              scholar       Yorkshire-Keighley

From St Catherines records I also have:
All Keighley:
James Edward birth Jun-Sep 1893 - was this your great grandfather?
John - married Jul to Sep 1883
Bertram- birth Oct- Dec 1898
Fred -birth Apr-Jun 1893
George - death Apr-Jun 1885 - will this be your George born 1825 ish- do you have a death cert which would give relatives and age?
George - 1882 - marriage Jul- Sep 1882
Sarah Ellen - birth Jan-Mar 1898
Richard - marriage Oct-Dec
Then from Macclesfield
Benaish - marriage Oct-Dec 1871
Ezra - death Oct-Dec 1885
George - marriage - Jul-Sep 1878
Josiah James - birth Jul-Sep 1853
Thomas - death - Oct-Dec 1885
Elizabeth - marriage Jul-Sep 1886
Ann - death - Jan-Mar 1875
then at Chorlton
Hannah Helen - Jan-Mar 1878
the Prestwich
Emma - marriage Oct-Dec 1890

Let me know who is related to who from above as I feel sure they are related to the Chapel Allerton branch.
My tree is from Chapel Allerton in Leeds - where I believe your George born 1825 ish was the brother of my James born 11.7.1828 who was a quarryman like his father John b 9.6.1796 d 18.4.1861, their mother was Ann b19.12.1799 died 9.8.1835 - I have a family bible of James descendants and his parents- hence the exact dates, unfortunately it doesn't mention his brothers and sisters but going from the births at Chapel Allerton I presume your George is one of the brothers. I have a list of the brothers and sisters. Befor Chapel Allerton they lived in Halton Leeds. My grandfather Norman Rollisson was a cabinet-maker in Leeds in the 1920-50's.
Let me know how your tree is developing and how relevant the above is.
Regards
Diane
