All of this is extremely interesting. I hope that we can establish a dialog regarding the family tree! As a recently involved family member (recently involved in the research process, not the family) I would like to say that the information which I have indicates that Benjamin went into the Revolution at a very early age (approximately 15). Here is a quote that comes from some papers that I have regarding the subject: "Isaac was a respected citizen and intended his son Benjamin for the ministry and gave hin the best education possible in those days, but the Revolutionary War breaking out, Benjamin, who was all patriot, offered his services to his country in which capacity of soldier he served with credit, both to his country and family, and when the war ceased he had risen to be a Major."
There is much more if you are interested. Get in touch. Larry Romaine
